Fitness Center
All fitness center patrons must be at least 10 years old. Children aged 10 to 12 must be within the arm’s reach of an adult. Anyone between the ages of 10 and 16 must attend a Fitness Centre orientation on or before their first visit.
Member Services can schedule this 30-minute orientation. To sign up, stop by the Fitness Desk or call 250-491-9622 ext 426.
Waterslides
You must be 107 cm (42 inches) or taller to ride the waterslides. The YMCA or the City of Kelowna do not establish height restrictions. The BC Safety Authority regulates water slides, and height restrictions have been set to promote maximum rider safety.
By putting signs in the main lobby and several posters in the Aquatic area, we do our best to advise guests of these rules before they enter the facility. We rely on both the staff and the child’s guardian to be accountable for the children’s safety while they are in the facility.
