Myra Canyon Park

Over 75,000 people each year enjoy the beautiful Myra Canyon Trail, which follows a part of the historic Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) over 18 trestles and into two tunnels. This well-kept, the moderately flat route provides breathtaking views of the Canyon and the distant Okanagan Lake.

Cycling the Myra Canyon Trail is a simple trip that the whole family can enjoy. This level trail connects Myra and Ruth Stations and is 12 kilometers long one way. So, if you want to complete the entire path and return to the same parking lot, you’ll be bicycling 24 kilometers in total. However, because it is not a loop, you may turn around at any time. The entire path may be cycled in 2–2.5 hours at a reasonable speed with few stops, or 3–3.5 hours with several short rests to snap photos and enjoy the scenery.

We recommend taking your time on the trail. This interactive trail has many small plaques with historical information that will give you a better understanding of the incredible feat accomplished here. And these brief intervals will allow you to appreciate and enjoy the wonderful environment that surrounds you. Take a stop on one of the numerous benches scattered throughout the trail to take in the scenery, smell the flowers, or spot some local wildlife.

Please carry water with you when bicycling the Myra Canyon Path, as there is no water at the parking lot or on the trail. At our bike rental site, we do offer a small concession station with bottled water, coffee, and snacks. And ponchos for when it rains!

Myra Canyon Bicycle Rental and Tours is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Trail in the Myra Station parking lot of Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park (accessed via McCulloch Road and Myra Forest Service Road). We are the first and only company to offer the convenience of on-site Canyon bicycle rentals in Kelowna B.C.

For parties of two or more, we offer both guided and self-guided tours. The tours include pick-up and drop-off service from your Kelowna or West Kelowna accommodation, as well as the use of a touring bicycle, helmet, and pannier with a snack and a bottle of water. All tours must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. Reservation of a single rider is only available upon request and is subject to availability. Our Self-Guided Tours include the use of one of our tour bikes to explore the Myra Canyon Trail on your own. Alternatively, if you prefer a Guided Tour, one of our incredible, experienced guides will accompany you on the path.
